Updated European-spec C-Max, which also comes in a longer
wheelbase, a sliding door, the actual version-minivan, making its debut at the
Paris Auto Show. Although that might seem like a very glamorous place for a
pair of movers, Ford has done a good job of sprucing up the look C-Max for
fashion-conscious families. Of course, we do not-and will-get larger,
seven-passenger Grand C-Max, but the style changes made to the model five seats
must ports to our C-Maxes with some changes.
As is becoming standard operating procedure for new or
updated Ford in the past, the C-Max is fully left high, a small grille / low, a
large intake of front-end treatment for a bigger Aston Martin style full-width
grille on the lower intake. The stylish maw flanked by thin lights and
ornaments more chiseled features. The changes are small, but they effectively
discard fat, jelly-bean-like aesthetic currents C-Max. Ford barely touched the
tail of the C-Max, with a pair of taillights more-efficient and smoothed-over
tailgate to be the only real change.
Ford recently lowered the estimated fuel economy of the
hybrid C-Max 47 mpg in both city and highway 45 mpg city, 40 mpg highway; the
company faces several pending lawsuits over alleged inflation EPA numbers
hybrid model '. We suspect that Ford may try to recapture some of the C-Max
miles per gallon and are also trying to increase the driving range of electric
only C-Max Energi, but we have to wait until the new C-Maxes hit our shores
sometime next year to find out.

reveal what, if any, non-related styling tamper with it in store for US-spec
2016 C-Max and C-Max Energi. We do not anticipate a drastic deviation from the
chassis and powertrain during setup, however. Today the C-Max hybrid propulsion
gear shares with the Fusion hybrid sedan, while the C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid
borrows the heart and lungs of a plug-in Fusion.
