2016 Ford Expedition Engine Failsafe Mode new

Expedition is a full-size SUV produced by Ford. It was originally launched in 1996, as a replacement for the Bronco. In a time when it was launched, it is positioned between the Explorer and Excursion but since 2005, it is the largest SUV in Ford's lineup. This big SUV is one of the last-based truck. It borrows a large part of the F-150 pickup. So far, we have seen three generations of it. The current model was released in 2007 and as you probably know, it came refresh last year. Since the next-generation model is planned to arrive about a year or two, expected 2016 Ford Expedition will come without major modifications, with pretty much the same characteristics as the previous model.

As we have mentioned, the 2016 Ford Expedition is expected to feature all of the changes that came with the 2015 model year. Just like the model of previous years, it will be available in two variants, as it is about dimension. Besides the standard, there is also a model EL, featuring a longer wheelbase and greater overall dimensions. This model is available in four trims - XLT, Limited, King Ranch and Platinum. Each trim has its own list of standard features, which will pretty much unchanged, compared with the previous model year. 2016 Ford Expedition will be full of safety features. Some of the most famous for ABS brakes, traction and stability control, front fog / driving lights, and post-collision safety system. There are also systems like MyKey speed and teen-oriented audio technology limiting or Blind Spot Information System, available in higher trim.

2016 Ford Expedition will feature the same engine as a model year 2015. As you might, you know, last year we saw a new engine which made its debut at this full-size crossover. It is a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, which is pretty good for 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. It would be paired with a 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission. Just like the previous model, RWD configurations will be offered as standard, while the AWD will be optional. Fuel consumption is around 18 mpg in combined drive.

2016 Ford Expedition is expected to come later this year. It will probably be the last year of production of this model, so price changes are not expected. The next generation is expected to come in 2016, as a model year 2017.
